Jess and Shaun got married at Nanpantan Hall, which is an old country house in Loughborough with countryside views. It was the most beautiful wedding and the sun even made an appearance!

The Ceremony

The ceremony was an intimate affair in a beautiful room. During the ceremony they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. One thing extra special, the registrar conducting the ceremony is actually Jess the brides mother!  It was such a personal service.

They decorated the area with flowers, which I loved. The reception was in the main hall at Nanpantan Hall – I love this venue because you can have the place for the whole weekend. Weddings at Nanpantan Hall are amazing, because the grounds are completely stunning.

Why Nanpantan Hall is a great place to get married

Nanpantan Hall is really peaceful and secluded, and is one of the loveliest places to get married in Loughborough. The venue offers long weekend packages – and there so many incredible backdrops that are perfect for photos.

The Reception

The couple had a cocktail drinks reception in the afternoon, and a photobooth in the evening. For dinner they had amazing food prepared by Vegan Junkies, and the first dance was a romantic slow dance. They finished off the evening with a huge buffet.

Jess wore a classic white dress and Shaun wore a three-piece suit and they looked really incredible.

The couple got in touch with me this year, and their enquiry was so personal. They said they wanted a relaxed photographer, and I loved that they seemed so much fun.

Advice for planning your wedding at Nanpantan Hall

This really is a blank canvas venue, but in the spirit of the school are some careful rules to consider.I’d advise a wedding planner to give you the perfect day you’re looking for without having to worry about the small details.This venue is really a hidden gem and not the usual wedding venue people think of.
