DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

It’s a superb decision to get married abroad. Doing it in a different location will become part of your lives forever and your loved ones will want to witness this special moment. Once you’ve booked the venue, now is the time to invest in a destination wedding photographer.

Steve is a seasoned traveller. His family has been in the travel industry since the 1950’s and he has mastered the art of ordering a cocktail in most languages.  He also works seamlessly with wedding coordinators in many countries to ensure your day not only is fun and special but also exploits the most epic photo opportunities.

Thanks so much... The images look amazing. Now we need to choose for the album!

Nina + Jeff - East Quay Wedding Venue, Whitsable Harbour, Kent

Steve made me and my husband feel so at ease. He felt more like a friend than a photographer... Absolutely amazing.

Ashlea + Lee - The Maltings, Ely, Cambridgeshire

what you get with your destination wedding photographer

What can Steve do for you?  Couples that book Steve don’t want contrived cheesy posed photos… they want to have fun and want photos that not only look great, but capture the location and venue they have this connection too.  Capturing the spirit of the destination country and the culture while enjoying the unique things these foreign places can bring.

Steve is not just another wedding vendor.  He has got your back and works with you while getting involved like a wedding guest would.  This means he can get to the heart of any action, can make not only you, but your family and friends feel at ease.  After all this is where the best photos happen, And by getting involved, Steve is able to  anticipate the moments and make sure they are captured.

What’s involved with Destination Wedding Photography

There is so much work involved before Steve can even take a photo.  This little snippet will give you a couple ideas as some of the considerations made by destination photographers.  This stuff can sometimes put a couple off as its extra planning but you won’t have to worry…

This is stuff Steve does so you don’t have too!

  • Book flights.  Must use an airline that allows a heavy carry-on as the photo gear is too precious for the hold.
  • Book Hotel – at least two nights as Steve always arrives 24hrs before the big day.
  • Arrange airport parking and transfers.
  • Organise hire car if he can’t get accommodation on site.  Can’t rely on Taxi’s for a day so important as this..
  • Steve won’t take any bookings 2 days before or after to ensure safe travel and dedicate himself to you and your destination wedding.
  • Plus all the other little bits in-between, like feeding and cleaning lol!

Steve is amazing... He made us feel like friends and helped make our wedding day perfect.

Iona + Tom - Milsoms Kesgrave Hall, Ipswich, Suffolk

Steve is fantastic... He really got involved with our guests and this put everyone at ease.  As a result our photos are amazing!

Abby + Billy - Dodford Manor, Northamptonshire
