Beckie and Bret got married at Bassmead Manor Barns, which is an old barn in Cambridgeshire with countryside views. It was such a fun wedding and even the rain didn’t dampen the day!
The Ceremony
The ceremony was a beautiful service in the Rickety Barn. During the ceremony they had a beautiful reading. It was so meaningful.
They decorated the area with flowers, which I loved. The reception was in the main hall at Bassmead Manor Barns – I love this venue because you can totally personalise it. Weddings at Bassmead Manor Barns are amazing, because the team are just wonderful.

Bassmead Manor Barns is perfect for couples who want a chilled out wedding, and is one of the nicest places to get married in Cambridgeshire. The venue offers top-class catering – and there are loads of amazing places that are perfect for photos.
The Reception
The couple had a cocktail drinks reception in the afternoon, and a photobooth in the evening. For dinner they had proper wedding grub, and the first dance was a romantic slow dance. They finished off the evening with sparklers.

Beckie wore a lacy dress and Bret wore a three-piece suit and they looked really perfect.
I met them while I photographed a Bassmead Tasting Event (Highly recommended!) so they got to see me in action before hand. They said they wanted a photographer who would be like a guest, and I loved that they were so relaxed.
